New Face at the Quarry

Painting - "New Face at the Quarry" -  I painted on a busy Saturday (lots of people hiking and jogging) at Ijams Nature Center in Knoxville with friends.  Last year
there was a rock slide that closed Mead's quarry to swimming and kayaking for a while.  The new face is the rock slide along the edge looking across the water's edge..  The reflections are still colorful when the water is barely moving. The wall has its tears in those reflections but it is completely silent now.
