We at Adkins Rollman Gallery have John Adkins who offers personal oil painting instruction in the Gallery on Sunday or Monday by appointment only or in the evenings after 5:00 pm by appointment.

Come let John show you how to fall in love with painting and develop the skills and techniques needed to make this a lifetime hobby or a passion. Oil painting instruction is available for adults and youth 16 and older. 

Individual private instruction is available for $50.00 per hour, for a minimum of 3 hours. All supplies will be provided. You must show up at your appointed time. Payment in advance by credit or debit card. Paintings will be from photographs, yours or mine. If you want to use your photograph, I need to approve the photo before the instruction date / time.

It's so much fun and relaxing to be creative. Learn a new skill set and enjoy finding your ability to go beyond stick figures and Christmas tree shapes. John will teach you the 5 different shapes that you use to draw anything, perspective drawing, color theory, and how to handle a brush and make correct brush strokes.
