In the Cove

Oil Painting - "In the Cove" -  in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Painted from the area just beyond Cades Cove Missionary Baptist Church, overlooking the big valley. I was painting this in the field in the parking area and two ladies from Kentucky watched me paint for some time and asked if they retruned, would I give them art lessons outside (en Plein Air). They have returned numerous times for lessons!
