Acrylic Painting - "Water Mark" - “Water Mark." was painted outside and has so many thoughts behind it…..more than I can write. This piece was completed on December 26, 2025, on location behind Spence Cabin in Elkmont. The work was created during a visit from Mark, who was visiting from Wisconsin and hiking Jake’s Creek Trail while I painted. Despite the time of year, it was a notably warm day with significant color remaining in the landscape.
