Acrylic Painting - "To David" - “To David” is David Hockey who passed away the week painted this one. I saw his big retrospective in Paris last year. I have followed his work since 1960’s and his pop art California swimming pools and much more.
I needed his help because I began the painting outside and then the next day the lilies were gone. I sat up a still life inside and made up the final color and background. I was struggling and thought I had no imagination. I am happy now and David gets the credit.
