Oil Painting - "Guardians of the River" - This painting was from Metcalf Bottoms, painted with the Tuesday Painters Group (a plein air painting group that meets weekly to paint, mainly in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park). I stood in the shade and looked at these trees. They stood guarding the river bank like sentinels! I named the painting "Guardians of the River".
