The Storms Glory - Oil Painting by artist John Adkins

Oil Painting - "The Storms Glory" - We painted at Clingmans Dome parking lot several weeks ago!!! We went to arrive at 6 PM to paint the sunset, when we arrived it was pouring rain and coming a thunderstorm. It was lightning everywhere so we waited till the storm passed before we started painting!!!  A beautiful rainbow appeared after the storm!  I finished the painting several days later!
