Painting - "The Caretaker's House" - Acrylic Painting by artist Charlotte Rollman. "This painting features the teal blue house where the Caretaker lived until 1999, back when he had the important job of protecting Daisy Town in Elkmont. Although it was considered a ghost town at the time, it has since become a Smoky Mountain favorite. It is a special place for me as well, especially on hot summer days when the elevation and tall trees offer a cool escape.
While I do not typically paint in this long format, I wanted to use it to capture the feeling of walking up the road and visiting the neighbors in Elkmont.."
