Painting - "Reagan's Place" - This piece was painted early in the morning, shortly after sunrise, while sitting between rows of sunflowers. The flower-heads were exceptionally large and heavy, creating an environment of golden warmth.
I selected a vertical format to evoke a sense of portraiture, giving the impression that the sunflowers were observing my painting process in the field. And yes there was “Sunshine on my Shoulders”.
