Painting - "Snowed In" - “This painting was inspired by the heavy Feb 2026 snow in my front yard, though the freezing temperatures presented a significant challenge. Both my palette and the painting froze while I was working outdoors; in fact, the palette had icicles on it by the time I brought it inside to thaw. I finished the work indoors, and due to these unique conditions, the painting has many layers of paint. It may be the thickest piece I have ever completed."
