Painting - "Reflecting Old Knoxville" - "Reflecting Old Knoxville" was painted at Iams Nature Center and was of Meads's Quarry. The quarry is now a swimming area and kayak boat dock. In past times, the quarry mined rose quartz marble and is still the color of the cliff in my painting. Knoxville is also know as marble city and has several other picturesque quarries.
