Painting - "Last Taste of Summer" - This was my second painting of the week, created near Sparks Lane in Cades Cove. It has been so dry recently that even the goldenrod is soft, and much of the thistle has turned brown. However, a butterfly and I managed to find a thistle that was still in bloom, inspiring the title "Last Taste of Summer."
