Painting - "Lady Slippers Conversation" - Acrylic painting by artist Charlotte Rollman. "This year there seemed to be fewer Lady Slippers at our secret spot on Porters Creek Trail. They are so delicate and fragile and can easily get stepped on even when you know where they are. And in one year to the next, the environment changes so much it is sometimes hard to find them again. People say they look like expensive silk shoes but I think flowers talk to each other when they bloom and sometimes they like to show off among friends."
