Painting - "John's Prized Collection" - "John’s Prized Collection" of irises is an experience felt much like being surrounded by his friends and family, as he shared the stories of their origins and the individuals who gifted them to him. His dedication to the garden reminds me of both my own family and Monet in his garden; there is clearly much more to the collection than meets the eye. I started painting in the shade and ended in the sun and somewhere in the middle the wind cranked up."
