John Adkins, Charlotte Rollman, and the Tuesday Painters, a local plein air painters group, were invited to Belmont Farms in Sevierville, TN for a day of plein air painting.
Belmont Farms is a family-owned farm that grows fresh produce, fresh cut flowers, and eggs. They have a love for local farming and have been in existence since 1937. They offer glamping sites for those who want to enjoy the peace and quiet of staying on the farm. bellmontfarmstn.com
The sky on this October Tuesday was a beautiful blue and the flowers were stunning on the farm.
Having the mountains in the background, full of the colors of the fall season, highlighted the painting experience.
They were visited and observed by a visitor from Montana who was camping at Belmont Farms. Visitors enjoy pausing, watching, and interacting with the Tuesday Painters as they create their beautiful work!
The seven Tuesday Painters who were painting at Belmont Farms took a picnic lunch break and enjoyed Carra Artis show her paintings from a workshop in France by Thomas Kitts. Charlotte shared “Carra’s paintings and discussion was inspiring to us all. Many of us stayed late at Belmont Farms and plan to return next year.”
John and Charlotte enjoyed their day at Belmont Farms and will have their paintings available for sale at the Adkins Rollman Gallery and via the online website!
