The Adkins Rollman Gallery is back from Winter 2024-2025 break and has launched into regular hours (Tuesday-Saturday and occasional Sundays, 10:00 am - 5:00 pm) as we enter the Spring Season!
Winter Break was a creative and busy time for us, beginning with the 22nd Biennial Sevier County Art Show and reception held at Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts in Gatlinburg.
Both Charlotte and John had paintings in the Art Show and visitors, friends, and local artists enjoyed viewing the pieces in Arrowmont's Gallery!
Also in Feburary, the Arts & Culture Alliance's 19th annual National Juried Exhibition featuring selected works from 35 artists throughout the region took place in Knoxville. Our Charlotte Rollman was chosen as one of the featured artists.
Charlotte's acrylic painting "Seasonings" was featured in the 2025 National Juried Exhibition, which ran from February 7th through March 1st.
As the Winter Break wrapped up, John has completed several weeks of proton radiation treatment for prostate cancer, and is doing great!
In John's words: "I have no side effects and have done well! Proton radiation is amazing and I am lucky to live close to a center that does this, as there are only about 40 places in the entire country that have this ability."
John has a total of 28 treatments, many of which he has already completed. The travel time to treatments has not slowed down his painting one bit!
